Return policy
We accept returns for thirty days from the date you receive your order. To be eligible, the piece must be in the same condition you received it in: unworn or unused, with all tags attached, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please write to hello@whitakerwest.com with your order number and a brief note about which piece you would like to return. We will reply with instructions and a return address. Returns sent without prior authorisation cannot be accepted.
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will email you with the outcome. If approved, the refund is processed to the original method of payment, typically within three to five business days; depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take a further two to five days to appear on a statement.
Pieces that cannot be returned
- Items returned more than thirty days after delivery.
- Items that have been worn, washed, or visibly used.
- Items returned without their original packaging.
- Items returned without their tags or accessories.
- Made-to-order pieces, alterations, or pieces marked final sale on the product page.
Exchanges
If a piece arrives defective or damaged in transit, we exchange it for the same piece at no charge. Please write to hello@whitakerwest.com with photographs of the issue, and we will arrange the exchange.
Exchanges for change of mind on colour, size, or texture are handled as a standard return followed by a fresh order. We are happy to hold the new order until the return is received, if you would prefer that, so the wardrobe gap closes neatly.
Refund timing
Once approved, refunds are processed within five business days from our side. If you have not seen the refund on your statement after that, please first check with your bank or card issuer; if it still has not appeared, write to us and we will look into it from this end.
Return shipping and restocking
For change of mind returns within the thirty day window, the customer covers the cost of return shipping. We do not charge a restocking fee, provided the piece comes back in new condition with all accessories.
For pieces that arrived damaged, defective, or sent in error, return shipping is on us; we will provide a prepaid label.
